Why Hong Kong Disneyland is a must-visit when in Hong Kong

TODAY I WANT TO TALK ABOUT HONG KONG DISNEYLAND! IN CAPSLOCK?

No, that’s just the excited intro. Hello.

It was few weeks ago, during the ending of winter. Best seasons to visit : Winter & Spring, because trust me, you will do endless walking and tone your bottom.

With the amazing Disney team.

Taking the VIP tour, a service made available by Disneyland. Front seat at the shows and cut queues for the rides? Anytime.

The Shows:

Mickey's PhilharMagic : This is a must see, okay. Definitely my best 4D experience so far. The part I remember most is how they made us feel like we are on the Aladdin’s carpet! Gayat gila padahal we were comfortably seated kot, siap ada angin-angin tiup muka, gahhh.

The Lion King Theatre: Even my bestfriend Melle (who was there few weeks before me) agreed that you should not miss this one. Sediakan tissue and prepare to berhingus-hingusan.

The Golden Mickey: Ahhhhh I am in love with this musical! It’s like an award show for everything Disney which means, SEMUA LAGU AND PLAY DISNEY YOU CAN THINK OF, CAN BE ENJOYED RIGHT HERE.

The Parade:

Flight of Fantasy Parade, only exclusive in HKDL for the 5th Anniversary It’s a local + international talents join efforts and takes 18 months to create.

The parade costumes are a collaboration between HKDL’s local costuming team and international award-winning costume designer – Mirena Rada. Seriously most creative innovative costumes for a parade.

The Rides (well.. some of em):

Hello, Dumbo The Flying Elephant.

Hello, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.

I thought I was cool because I looked good in this candid.

Then I saw this.

Hello, Orbitron.

Hello Mad Hatter Tea Cups.

This is mom underestimating the Mad Hatter Tea Cups.

And this is mom having the time of her life at Space Mountain the indoor rollercoaster, baby!

If you wanna see the full map of the place and available rides, head over to: Park Map

The Streets:

Plenty of street food in cute stalls everywhere.

Plenty of souvenirs in cute stalls everywhere.

The Food:

To find halal food is no problem at all. They provide amazing vegetarian dishes, and if you go the restaurants, just tell them; no red meat and you’re all set ready to feast!

The food court, Riverview Café in Adventure Land. Wide variety of Asian food, Penang laksa semua ada.

But we got ourselves these! GILA SEDAP MASAKAN INDIA YANG SERIOUSLY I TAK PERNAH RASA KUAH DHAL SESEDAP INI. Dahlah makan panas-panas masa cuaca freezing. Heaven. Ahhhh teringat lagi rasa dia. Nangis.

If you got the chance to come to this place, please please please on my behalf makanlah Indian dish yang superb ini.

For dinner, head over to the restaurant with tip top service.

Such beautiful place to dine in.

7 courses dinner! Chinese food all the way baby! This is the life… Oh btw, see that landak? Best fried dessert ever, k thanks.

The Night Scene:

Glowing cotton candy, can you see it? Yumsy.

Disneyland closes at 8pm, boohoo quite early if you ask me. Before that, they’ll have a closing fireworks show and again, you wouldn’t wanna miss this remarkable firework experience.

Castle is transformed into Tinkerbell Castle in conjunction with Hong Kong Disneyland 5th Anniversary. It is gonna be worth the wait.

Except that my pictures don’t do em justice -_-. SO GO EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF. BRING MY OWN FAMILY (ANAK-ANAK KITEW) TO DISNEYLAND IS DEFINITELY IN MY TO DO LIST NOW. A PLACE SO MAGICAL, RASA MACAM DREAMING.
